Fluctuations and Thermodynamic Variables in Mean Field Spin Glass Modelsz

چکیده

We present two rigorous results on the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick mean eld model for spin glasses, proven by elementary methods, based on properties of uctuations, with respect to the external quenched noise, of the thermodynamic variables and order parameters. The rst result gives the uniform convergence of the quenched average of the free energy in the thermodynamic limit to its annealed approximation, in the high temperature regime, including the assumed critical point (= 1 in our notations). The second result shows that the free energy can be expressed through a functional order parameter, of the type introduced by Parisi in the frame of the replica symmetry breaking method. The functional order parameter is implicitely given in terms of uctuations of thermodynamic variables.

About the Overlap Distribution in Mean Field Spin Glass Modelsz

We continue our presentation of mathematically rigorous results about the Sherrington-Kirkpatrick mean eld spin glass model. Here we establish some properties of the distribution of overlaps between real replicas. They are in full agreement with the Parisi accepted picture of spontaneous replica symmetry breaking. As a byproduct, we show that the selfaveraging of the Edwards-Anderson uctuating ...

Exactly Solvable Model of Inergodic Spin Glass

A mean-field model of Ising spin glass with the Hamiltonian being a sum of the infinite-range ferromagnetic and random antiferromagnetic interactions has been studied. It is shown that this model has phase transition in external magnetic field into inergodic spin glass phase with a number of metastable states. The thermodynamic properties of metastable states are studied at T = 0 and near the t...

Complexity as the driving force for glassy transitions

The glass transition is considered within two toys models, a mean field spin glass and a directed polymer in a correlated random potential. In the spin glass model there occurs a dynamical transition, where the the system condenses in a state of lower entropy. The extensive entropy loss, called complexity or information entropy, is calculated by analysis of the metastable (TAP) states. This yie...

Mean-field theory of spin-glasses with finite coordination number.

The mean-field theory of dilute spin-glasses is studied in the limit where the average coordination number is finite. The zero-temperature phase diagram is calculated and the relationship between the spin-glass phase and the percolation transition is discussed. The present formalism is applicable also to graph optimization problems. The mean-field theory (MFT) of spin-glasses usually refers to ...
